I jus learned walnuts our favorite treats are bad and can kill pets ~
I loooove walnuts!
So I asked mommy who's this pet?
She said that's one of my nickname's. yikes! say what?!
So I'm very sad walnuts are now off the treat menu ~
The day has got to get better...

Bummer. Isn't that always the way it goes? If you like something it is bad for you. If it tastes good, it is bad for you! If it tastes bad or has no flavor at all, it is good for you. It's not fair!!

Really??? My mommy don't believe so...Why are there sooo many foods out there which are actually harmless if you look at them properly that we doggies can't eat? Some people just talk rubbish on the net. They can say anything which suits their thinking. My mommy always believes in meeting a certified Nutritionist or a Doctor who know their research very well & who know what they're talking about. The famous Purina Nutritionist said nothing about Walnuts or any nuts being harmful to us doggies. She even said that the grape flesh is safe but not the skin. And that my mommy believes. So I'm not very sure about what this person said about Walnuts...Very fishy person.

Oh by the way, dogs CAN get sick but not die within 24 hours if a dog eats maybe 1kg bag of Walnuts or any of those so-called dangerous foods all by itself. Then maybe it can fall sick but no way it can die...The Purina Nutritionist also mentioned that there was this dog in her country who ate 1kg bag of raw onion rings by itself but did not die. It is still healthy & alive till today. So I really think you really need to eat a LOT to fall sick.

We've never eaten walnuts before cause our M read somewhere before nuts ain't any good to us when eaten in bulks.
This puzzled us too.
We wondered if the 'fishy bugger' is trying to scare us off so he/she can keep all the walnuts to themselves? Ah.....
Daddy says eat everything in moderation is wise. Since you guys have had walnuts and no issues thus far, prolly its safe after all? Just reduce the intake.
Daddy also say. "If everything also cannot eat, now tell me why the strays eats everything they find yet they are still healthy and running around like a free dog? Best they dont need vets!"
It makes some dog sense to what Daddy had told Mummy afterall.

Crikit, my friend, you look so sad. Many great things have been snatched from our pantry do to so called... problems. Believe me, I think CATS are the cause of it. However, if you continue that GREAT sad look, your mom will definitely try to find you a new favorite treat. Keep it up, girl!
