To mom's rescue

Crikit here and yes I went to mom's rescue, Ginger was behind me and Sparky stayed at the bottom of the stairs...
.
It was the day after Christmas and dark like in the 3 AM hour. I was woken by noises above my head. oh golly what is it? The kitchen is our main room and where we sleep. We are gated from the TV room at sleep-night-time and the other door to the pantry is closed (or so we have always thought in the past.) Well, when I was woken by some weird noises and the other two, ya know, Sparky & Ginger woke up too, I knew I had to find a way to go check on mom & dad!
.
The noises were scary sounding so I pushed my nose real hard on the door that leads to the pantry and thank goodness it opened! I then went thru the dark pantry, thru the dark laundry room which, luckily that door is always open and then thru the dark hallway towards the garage door, turned right to the dark bathroom hallway to only be delayed by having to work the door open. Lucky us that door was left cracked. When I got it open I then had access to go up the stairs to see what was going on! Ginger was right behind me but Sparky the cautious one stayed at the bottom.
.
We found mom in the bathroom at the top of the stairs getting sick. It was dark and I was worried so I ran into their room to wake dad. Dad said go check on mom so I ran back to the bathroom and paced behind mom and nudged her several times. Ginger whined and was on alert cos we didn't know if someone or something caused mommy to be sick. She was making horrible noises into the sink. We've never seen that before but when she was finished she came downstairs with us.
.
Mommy let us go outside so we could make sure no one was out there. When we came in mommy seemed to be better. She petted us and thanked us for caring. Then we all went back to sleepy-nights. It took a couple of days for mommy to tell have brave we all were that night but now that she is feeling better we are back to checking on our bloggie!
.
With mommy having been sick, the only good thing was no camera thingy in our faces!
.
Happy New Year to all. May you be blessed with good health, abundance of happiness and oh so many more blessings of prosperity!

.
oh PEE eeS: it was the mash potatoes. Turns out dad came home from work early cos he said he felt he was gonna throw chucks plus he didn't get much sleep! He also told me that I wouldn't wanna chase them. ?? whatever that means ??

pee ees: don't forget to eat your blackeyed peas!!
.
Love Crikit, Sparky & Ginger
